Anyone who has watched the awesome tv series ‘Band of Brothers’ will know this man. This is Major Richard Winters.
I loved watching Band of Brothers, I used to get tucked up in bed and watch it before I went to sleep. So when I saw this image of Damian Lewis I just had to draw him, as a sort of tribute.
It took me a couple of weeks to finish this piece, in my first sitting I felt like i truely captured him, with his eyes and smile, but what with being ill, and then reading the Divinchi Code book series, it took me a while to get a chance to finish him, but feel I did him justice.
